Module Description
What is the inspiration for this web site, why was it made, and who is it for? You’ll find the answers to all of those questions here. You’ll also get a look at the mechanics of the web site, how it is organized, and how you can sign up for an account and get started.
Teachers! There is a short explanation of the special section of the web site developed just for teachers (as well as work group supervisors and human resource leaders) with ideas on how to use and supplement the learning materials in this web site. (You’ll need to create a teacher account for a more in-depth explanation.)
You’ll also get information on FFN Faves, mini-quizzes and exams, and the Certificate of Completion. This module is a little bit different than the other nine because there is no exam and just one quiz. You will need to get 100% to get credit for completing the Course Introduction module, and this gives you a preview on how all of the subsequent quizzes work and are evaluated. (If needed, you will have multiple attempts to achieve the mandatory 100% score.)
This Module Will Include:
1) Learning text of the module is divided up into smaller bites of material with each section focused on a single topic. Sections also include a suggested list of other sources if you’d like to do further study and find out more about that topic.
2) One quiz after all of the introductory material, to assess your understanding of the key points in the introduction, that must be completed with a perfect score of 100%. (You have a maximum of 7 attempts. Your attempts are tracked and counted.)
