Module Description
Personal finance is all about handling your money and using money to its best advantage. You’ll also take a look at the nature of money and the purposes that it serves.
Experts agree that the most important aspect of personal finance is the idea of saving money. On the flip side you don’t want to live “paycheck-to-paycheck,” an approach to life where you don’t save any money.
Users will also be introduced to a number of useful new concepts, ideas, and terms that they may or may not have heard of before. Things like net worth, economics, bankruptcy, and budgeting.
Math meets personal finance as you explore the oh-so-important magic of compound interest. This is all about letting saved money multiply and earning even more money.
This module has 10 sections with quizzes at the end of each section. At the end of the module there is a module checklist, additional personal finance resources to check out, and things conclude with a 28-question module exam.
This Module Will Include:
►Learning text that is divided up into small bites of material with each section focused on a single topic. Sections also include a suggested list of other sources if you’d like to do further study and find out more about that topic.
►A quiz at the end of each section, to assess your understanding of the key points in that section, that must be completed with a perfect score of 100%. (You have a maximum of 7 attempts. Your attempts are tracked and counted.)
►An exam at the end of the module, which you will take just one time, to give an overall assessment of how well you understand the key points of the module. (Many of the same questions from the quizzes will show up here.)
